XE135E RETURNS

Experience the Power and Intelligence of a 15-Ton Star Excavator

In the UK’s competitive mid-sized excavator market, the XCMG XE135E has proven itself a standout performer. This 15-ton tracked excavator has earned the trust of contractors nationwide thanks to its excellent performance and reliable build quality. After taking the spotlight as a top-selling model at Hillhead 2024, the XE135E is set to make a strong return at Plantworx 2025, taking place from September 23 to 25. Join us at Stand A-43/A-44 for live demonstrations.

A Proven Performer Returns: Precision Control and High Productivity

The XE135E is one of XCMG’s flagship models in the UK and is widely used across public works, road construction, water management, landscaping, farmland transformation, and pipeline installation. It comes equipped with a 3-metre long arm as standard, offering an extended digging radius and improved flexibility, making it ideal for dynamic and varied job sites.

During Plantworx 2025, XCMG will host live demos in the outdoor Demo Zone, where professional operator from our UK dealer will showcase the machine’s capabilities.

Powerful Engine + Reinforced Structure: Built for Demanding Work

The XE135E is powered by a Cummins F3.8 engine, delivering 90kW at 2200 rpm for consistent, high-efficiency output. It features dual variable hydraulic pumps (2×120 L/min) and an independent pilot pump, with a maximum system pressure of 34.3 MPa, delivering fast, precise, and coordinated digging performance.

With a travel speed of up to 4.7km/h and a 35% gradeability, the XE135E easily handles challenging terrains. Its reinforced upper frame and undercarriage ensure exceptional stability, even during heavy-duty and continuous operation. This machine is built for productivity in real-world construction conditions.

Comfortable Operation, Certified Safety and Professional Detailing

The cab is ROPS-certified (ISO 12117-2:2008), providing full protection for the operator. Inside, the spacious interior includes an ergonomic suspension seat, an intuitive control layout, and excellent all-around visibility – all designed to reduce operator fatigue and improve job focus.

Fitted with 700mm wide tracks and optional rubber pads, the XE135E offers superior traction and ground adaptability, performing well on surfaces ranging from mud and gravel to uneven stone.

Versatility, Easy Maintenance and Reliable Efficiency

The XE135E is ideal for small to medium-sized civil engineering projects, trenching, road repair, and land levelling. The machine is designed with easy-access service points and a well-organized component layout, making daily maintenance quicker and reducing downtime.

Multiple bucket sizes are available, ranging from 0.43 to 0.6 m³, to meet various digging and loading needs. With a maximum digging depth of 6,020mm, a bucket digging force of 90kN, and a stick force of 65kN, the XE135E is more than capable of handling high-intensity tasks.

The XCMG XE135E is not just a well-balanced, high-performing mid-size excavator – it’s a strong testament to engineering excellence and reliability in the global market. Its return to Plantworx 2025 highlights not only its proven success but also XCMG’s ongoing commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction in the UK.
