Introducing the XTR15 and XTR23 tiltrotators

Following the successful launch of the XTR20 tiltrotator, Steelwrist is expanding the lineup with the XTR15 for 12-15 tonne excavators and the XTR23 for 19-23 tonne machines. These new models feature S/SQ60 and S/SQ70 interfaces, respectively, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of work tools. The low building height, optimized weight, and ease of upgrading from S to SQ interface make these tiltrotators a must-see at Bauma 2025.

Live demonstrations of next-generation products

One of the highlights of the Steelwrist stand is the interactive live show, where three excavators will demonstrate the power, precision, and efficiency of Steelwrist’s latest products. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the third-generation XTR tiltrotators in action, featuring best-in-class tilt geometry, the OptiLube onboard lubrication system, and LockSense, a state-of-theart safety system ensuring secure work tool attachment. Additionally, Steelwrist is introducing the SQ40 automatic coupler, extending its successful SQ technology to excavators up to 6 tonnes. This innovation enables quick and safe changes of hydraulic work tools, significantly improving productivity for compact excavators.

Bringing automatic couplers to compact excavators with SQ40

The introduction of SQ40 marks a significant leap forward in efficiency for smaller excavators. With a patent-pending design, the SQ40 automatic coupler delivers 70 l/min hydraulic flow, allowing compact excavators to handle powered work tools with the same efficiency as larger machines. The innovative couplings offer 40% more flow area than standard 3/8” couplings, making them ideal for demanding applications. At Bauma, two excavators equipped with SQ40 – one with a Direct Fit X07 tiltrotator and another with a Direct Fit XR7 rotor coupler – will demonstrate the power and versatility of this groundbreaking system.

Expanding the range of powered work tools

Steelwrist continues to expand its lineup of work tools, introducing the MGX4 multi grapple for 2-4tonne excavators. This lightweight yet durable grapple is perfect for general construction, stone laying, sorting, and light demolition. Additionally, all powered work tools in the S40 interface range – including HCX hydraulic compactors, MGX multi grapples, and SGX sorting grapples – will now be available with SQ40 interface.

Debut of the TSX6 Tree shear

Another major highlight at Bauma 2025 is the introduction of the TSX6 Tree shear, designed for efficient and safe tree cutting. Ideal for forestry, roadside maintenance, and clearing operations, the TSX6 offers powerful cutting capabilities while improving safety by eliminating the need for manual chainsaw operations. The robust design, featuring a fixed blade and high-strength grapple arms, ensures secure tree handling, making it an invaluable tool for operators working in demanding environments.
