WORLD PREMIERE

If you work in demolition or construction, you know how quickly site waste builds up. Every demolition creates piles of concrete that take up space, disrupt site logistics and increase management and disposal costs. The longer you wait, the more unmanageable the problem becomes. The solution is to recycle it on-site.

It’s a process that initially involves the utilization of heavy duty pulverisers and that hasn’t been lost on MB Crusher who has been supplying demolition work tools to the industry for more than two decades.

The launch of a series of five new demolition pulverisers, hailed as a “breakthrough in power, precision, and performance,” was one of the highlights of the recent bauma exhibition in Munich where they had their world premiere and they perfectly fill a gap in the Italian manufacturer’s product portfolio of crusher buckets and sorting grapplers.

Designed for excavators, backhoe loaders and skidsteers in the 1.5 tonne to 25 tonne range, the new MB-P series and MB-PT series models are the first primary and secondary demolition attachments to be offered by the company following feedback and requests from customers around the world.

Rigorous Testing

Manufactured from Hardox 450, an extremely hard wearing and abrasion-resistant steel plate, both versions of the pulverisers were rigorously subjected to tough tests and trials on different machines on various construction sites over several years, chomping down poles, slicing through railway sleepers, crushing the foundations of a warehouse and helping to demolish a hospital building, taking every task easily in their stride.

MB engineers also tested them on tungsten rock in Sardinia, one of the hardest and heaviest materials on earth, highly resistant to extreme temperatures.

The two versions to meet customer needs have been designed to be installed on different machines while keeping the weight-to-power ratio optimal, perfectly adapting to the hydraulic characteristics of mid-size machines while ensuring top-notch performance in crushing reinforced concrete – and apart from lubrication, minimal maintenance is needed.

The MB-P160 and MB-P380 pulverisers are ideal for lighter tasks, while the MB-PT650, MB-PT1150 and the MBPT1650 are designed for heavy duty work. The MB-P is a single-body design, with one part remaining stationary while the other opens and closes, while the MB-PT features a dual position and can be equipped with a variety of kits: crushing, pulveriser and shear.

Through an optimization of the leverage systems, the MB Crusher demolition pulverizer develops greater demolition force, and the reversible and interchangeable blades help increase both the durability and versatility of the equipment, allowing it to tackle a variety of tasks with ease.

Extremely Durable

These pulverizers are extremely durable, thanks to the robust slewing ring and protected cylinders, which enhance stress resistance and ensure long-lasting durability.

The system also allows for the installation of a dual motor, which increases the rotational force. Additionally, with the optional electric rotation kit, they can operate with just two hoses, thanks to the double-acting system.

The pulverizers are equipped with a cylinder-based system that ensures consistent power, providing high performance at every stage of the job, and the continuous 360° hydraulic rotation facilitates positioning and significantly improves manoeuvrability during use.

Another Milestone

The launch of these new MB-P series and MB-PT series pulverisers marks another memorable milestone for MB Crusher who for over 20 years has been designing and manufacturing attachments for heavy equipment regardless of size.

Perseverance and resilience led the company to invent the first jaw crusher for excavators. Investing in technology research contributed to the development of MB’s products that can be installed on any carrier machine, turning them into real mobile crushers while improving the machine’s performance and allowing companies to use the resources available in their job sites.

MB Crusher has evolved to become the benchmark for the construction equipment industry around the world today, with a full range of products to give companies the solutions that they are looking for. The introduction of these new demolition pulverisers will ensure the company remains at the forefront of the attachments sector for many years to come.

Main Applications

MB-P & MB-PT series, which come with a full 24 month warranty, are essential tools for:

■ Primary demolition

■ Controlled partial demolitions: rapid demolition of reinforced concrete structures with absolute precision.

■ Material selection and recovery: efficient separation of inert materials for immediate and cost-effective recycling.

■ Volume reduction of debris: in combination with crusher buckets, they transform waste material into reusable resources directly on-site.
