WELCOME

Welcome to Issue 30 of Awesome Earthmovers. In this issue, we’ve brought together a wide range of site visits and machine-focused features from across the US, Europe and the UK.

Inside the magazine, you’ll find coverage from Texas with Sandvik dealer Crushing Tigers, looking at crushers and screeners working in demanding conditions, alongside visits to asphalt operations running Powerscreen equipment.

We also report from the European launch of Magna, offering a first look at its jaw, cone and screening equipment as it enters the continental market.

Our cover feature takes us to Samsun, Türkiye, at Yeşilırmak Ports, where Sennebogen machines are operating in bulk-handling applications. The feature looks at the 895-E, the world’s largest material handler, alongside the 880 EQ, with insight from the operators working with these machines day to day.

Back in the UK, we speak to Blue Group following its appointment as exclusive distributor for Terex Ecotec machinery.

Elsewhere in the issue, there’s a feature on a JCB 140X joint project between Flannery Plant Hire and Awesome Earthmovers, created to raise awareness and funds for Air Ambulance UK. We also visit the Lake District with CASE Construction Machinery and report from Scotland at the LiuGong Dig Day.

We hope you enjoy reading this issue.
